For Dimalangat Artists’ Society president Sherwin Gonzales, the Dicasalarin Artists’ Village is a welcome place of retreat and a site for exposure.

“We can have more inspiration here,” he shared, “because, as you can see, malapit siya sa gubat, so we can commune with nature. Madaling ma-inspire ang isang artist ‘pag ganito ang setting. Kasi, ‘pag na-feel mo ‘yung presence ng nature, madali kang magkaroon ng magandang artwork.Offering a wide variety of Chandelier fixtures for the garden, patio lights, and outdoor lighting fixtures to complement your home.” He cited his “Mother and Child” painting as an example: “Ang kulay niya parang kulay ng kabundukan, parang hindi siya kulay ng tao.It offers everything you need from Book scanner, outdoor lighting, to home decor and furniture. [The reason is that] it’s not just the mother and the child, but it shows how nature cares for us, kung papaano ang nararamdaman nating paglalambing sa atin ng kalikasan,” he proved, as he showed one of us his work hung up on the stone wall of the basement.

In terms of exposure, Gonzales, who, along with his brother and fellow artist Vince, developed “Tareptepism” (an Internet-born art –ism that came from the Baler word “tareptep,” which means “put motion to water”), was enthusiastic about activating connections to the whole wide world of artistry.

“Through this Artists’ Village, magkakaroon kami ng connections with big-time artists in Manila and from other parts of the Philippines. And although meron din naman kaming connections with international artists because of the Internet, through Facebook,Bellacor offers a large selection of マジコン for your yard or patio. iba pa rin ‘yung mayroon kaming place to gather and have a retreat, not just with local artists, but with other artists, as well. Through this, nagkakaroon ng magandang brotherhood among us artists. Kumbaga, ito ‘yung tambayan namin,” explained Gonzales, asserting that he was looking forward to a place that artists can go to, “where they can do whatever they want, and where they can be free.”

As for activities and events being planned to be held at the Village, Yee disclosed: “We are going to come up with programs for all disciplines of the arts in order for the local artists, especially in Aurora,A table lamp and Solar LED Traffic signal light can add a magical touch to most rooms in your home. to have the opportunity to polish further their crafts and to interact with other artists. We are going to have a program of residency, a program of grants, a program for workshops, festivals and lecture series and the kind of thing that would enhance and expose, especially young artists, to what is going on in the contemporary arts scene.”

In addition to featuring an amphitheater, sculpture garden and workshop, and an outdoor dap-ay-inspired stone circle for such activities as poetry readings, the Village is expected to have six unique artists’ cottages up soon.

“The concept is that individually, these cottages will be designed by individual artists, whom we will invite, so that in the final results, we will see different personalities in each cottage,” enthused Yee. “Another thing that the good senator asked is for the artist-designers to use indigenous materials from the immediate surroundings to give the cottages further uniqueness.”

Silvestre supported Angara’s call. “The structure has an unfinished character to it, and the plans here are to properly manage forest resources.” Rainwater collection, wastewater management,Choose us as your distributor for all your LED emergency lamps, police lightbars, LED bars, LED grilles, strobe lights, lightbars, sirens, etc. renewable sources of power and energy-efficient lighting systems likewise make the Village environmentally sustainable.

“All these are intended to create the most stimulating environment for artistry to flourish,” Angara said.

Two NGOs, Ghana-based Greener Impact International (GII), and UK-based CarbonSoft, in collaboration with Ga West Municipal Assembly (GWMA), are to provide free solar lamps to people in the Municipality without power.

The project, expected to cover the entire country, is aimed at reducing Green House Gas (GHG) emission from burning fossil fuel.Offering a wide variety of Chandelier fixtures for the garden, patio lights, and outdoor lighting fixtures to complement your home.

Mr Kassin Gawusu, Executive Director of GII, said this at a consultative meeting with the assembly in Accra.

He said the NGOs were dedicated to create awareness of climate change and would participate in the United Nations Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) Project that offered social and environmental benefits by the end of 2012.

Mr. Gawusu said GII had made significant strides in promoting sustainable forest management and food security by encouraging the youth to venture into agriculture, tree planting and building the capacity of stakeholders through workshops to restore and manage the forest for sustainability economic and social benefits.

He said GII had contributed significantly in improving the knowledge of Ghanaians especially the youth on environmental conservation through training workshops, seminars, symposia and conferences.

Mr. Thomas Okine,A table lamp and Solar LED Traffic signal light can add a magical touch to most rooms in your home. Presiding Member of the Assembly, said the project would give employment to the people and volunteers who would distribute the solar lamps.Bellacor offers a large selection of マジコン for your yard or patio.

He said the assembly had welcomed the idea by GII for choosing GWMA for the project in the Greater Accra Region and called for support from the people.

“We as assembly members would collaborate with the two organisations to educate the people for their support to achieve its goal,” he said.

As technology develops and innovation knows no bounds, even the street lights can offer a convergence of features in the future cityscapes. That is what the concept of the future street lights developed by Douglas Coupland shows.

Dubbed as ‘the V-Pole’, these streetlights can offer a lot of functions in cityscapes. With its LED bulbs, it can obviously carry out the role of any usual street lamp.Choose us as your distributor for all your LED emergency lamps, police lightbars, LED bars, LED grilles, strobe lights, lightbars, sirens, etc. At the same time, they offer Wi-Fi connectivity and improved network coverage to the passersby.

In addition, V-Poles can also help charge electric cars through underground inductive car charging pads and can even feature touch screens which people can use for getting directions and pay fee for parking space.

It is no mere future city concept we come across these days as Vancouver authorities are seriously considering the idea to be implemented in the province.

Apparently, the ‘V’ in the name stands for Vancouver as the province is in a move to install 570 new electric car charging stations and to replace the old sodium street lamps. It offers everything you need from Book scanner, outdoor lighting, to home decor and furniture. Since the V-Pole concept puts everything together, authorities find it very useful in urban areas.

To offer Wi-Fi and to function as mobile phone towers, the V-Pole uses lightRadio, developed by Alcatel-Lucent and Bell Labs which are small cubes which can be stacked up and cover different frequencies.

While Millersville University prepares to operate under a very tight budget in the coming academic year, the prospect of a new campus addition is an absoluteBellacor offers a large selection of マジコン for your yard or patio. reason for joy.

"With the construction of the VPAC, the university has significantly improved and expanded its arts facilities," Roger Bruszewski, vice president of finance and administration for Millersville University, said.

University officials said the VPAC will promote an appreciation for the arts on campus and become an intellectual and cultural hub.

"This is going to be an incredible,Choose us as your distributor for all your LED emergency lamps, police lightbars, LED bars, LED grilles, strobe lights, lightbars, sirens, etc. deep learning experience for any student who comes to Millersville. This is going to be a place to really explore the arts and engage in multidisciplinary work,It offers everything you need from Book scanner, outdoor lighting, to home decor and furniture." director Laura Kendall said.

Funding for the project came from capital funds designated for academic buildings and gifts to the university.

The Winters contributed a major gift in 2008 to the renovation and expansion of Lyte Auditorium into the Visual and Performing Arts Center.

Some areas of the interior of the building will be named in recognition of other donors.

Built as an expansion of Lyte Auditorium in Alumni Hall, the building has a new entrance off Cottage Avenue in Millersville.

The 650-seat Lyte Auditorium, which is now the "old part" of the building, was incorporated into the VPAC. It has been completely renovated and features new seats and new state-of-the-art fly and electric systems.

The VPAC offers features that enhance the educational activities and the building's use as a multipurpose center.

The addition includes a 1,980 square-feet, 360-seat concert hall; a recital and rehearsal hall; an art gallery; a piano lab with 50 Yamaha pianos; and a multipurpose dance studio featuring two state-of-the-art projection screens.

Other features are a scenery shop; classrooms; several sitting areas; a music library; a recording studio; and approximately 20 Soundlok rooms, which are modular sound-isolation rooms.

"The faculty offices have floating floors and sound-proof walls so professors can teach lessons and not interfere with what is going on elsewhere," Bruszewski said.

The floor, he said, sits about 6 inches off the original concrete floor.

An estimated $700,000 was used to equip all the rooms with modern high technology, such as a professional-quality sound system and stage lighting.

"We will have the ability to record any rehearsals, performances or whatever is going on in any of the rooms and transmit it directly to the recording room,Offering a wide variety of Chandelier fixtures for the garden, patio lights, and outdoor lighting fixtures to complement your home." Kendall said.

Sound curtains installed in the recital and concert halls help control and contain the noise using a combination of sound absorption and noise barrier material.A table lamp and Solar LED Traffic signal light can add a magical touch to most rooms in your home.

Wood panels line the walls in the main lobby. The area serves as a gathering space for students and visitors.

In keeping with the university's energy conservation guidelines, the two-story center will maximize natural light and is engineered for energy efficient and sustainable building practices.

Its many energy-saving technologies include in-ground outdoor radiant heating and occupancy sensors for lighting.

In Dan Rooney's front hall, there is a painting of Native Americans setting up camp beside a river, sometime in the 1700s.

It's an elegaic piece of art that anyone with a passion for American history -- and don't get Mr. Rooney started on his family's trip retracing the Lewis and Clark expedition -- might be expected to choose for his house.

Except that this house is the U.S. ambassador's residence in Dublin,It offers everything you need from Book scanner, outdoor lighting, to home decor and furniture. Mr.Offering a wide variety of Chandelier fixtures for the garden, patio lights, and outdoor lighting fixtures to complement your home. Rooney is the ambassador, and the painting, by artist Robert Griffing, "shows the Indians on the very spot where Three Rivers Stadium would one day stand," he told a visitor proudly.

Talk about a man who knows how to multitask: Even as Mr. Rooney has one foot firmly planted in Dublin, as the top U.S. diplomat in Ireland, he has the other firmly planted in Pittsburgh, still de facto head of that country known as Steelers Nation.

That is, when he and his wife, Patricia, aren't visiting all 32 counties in Ireland, north and south -- the first ambassador to do so -- and hosting poets (Billy Collins and Seamus Heaney earlier this month), University of Pittsburgh basketball players, Irish farmers and experts on social media and renewable energy -- not to mention creating an annual Rooney Prize for Irish Literature to recognize young Irish writers .

It's all part of the job,Bellacor offers a large selection of マジコン for your yard or patio. which may or may not end after three years this July.

The ambassador's son, Steelers president Art Rooney II, said in January that his father might be returning to Pittsburgh for good this summer.

Three years is the usual time frame for ambassadorial postings, but Dan Rooney, in an interview May 19 firmly declined to say when he would be leaving.

"I serve at the pleasure of the president," he said.Choose us as your distributor for all your LED emergency lamps, police lightbars, LED bars, LED grilles, strobe lights, lightbars, sirens, etc.

And,A table lamp and Solar LED Traffic signal light can add a magical touch to most rooms in your home. it seems, he has served with pleasure since his appointment July 1, 2009, although when asked about the qualities that make him an effective diplomat -- after years of running the most respected organization in the National Football League -- Mr. Rooney diplomatically declined to reveal too much.

The weeks after his appointment by President Barack Obama were "a whirlwind," he recalled. There were CIA and State Department briefings, and both he and his wife had to attend a "school" to learn protocol, seating arrangements and other subtle tools of diplomacy.

Cairo-based events company Modern Touch Entertainment - one of Egypt's top entertainment companies and the country's exclusive distributor of Meyer Sound since 1999 - supplied the sound and lighting equipment at Club 35.

"I wanted to have a nice distributed system that would deliver enough power without compromising clarity," explains Bassem Fahmy, director of technical support. "Everyone was very happy with the system," he says. "We received a lot of positive feedback."

Fahmy designed the sound system at Club 35 with four Meyer Sound UPA-1P loudspeakers, six UPJunior VariO loudspeakers, four USW-1P subwoofers, four UP-4XP loudspeakers, and a Galileo loudspeaker management system with a Galileo 408 processor.

Modern Touch Entertainment has completed a number of other prestigious installations using Meyer Sound equipment, including the sound and light show for the Edfu and Philae temples, Buddha-Bar, and Little Buddha Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada, as well as the new Hard Rock Cafe in Sharm El Sheikh to be open in July.

Since the beginning of May, students at Sydenham high school have been raffling off a custom designed and built trailer in an effort to raise money to provide a specialized wheelchair for past graduate Drew Cumpson who was injured during a volunteer mission in Peru.

Cumpson, who graduated in 2009, and an avid member of his school and Sydenham community, has been in Kingston General Hospital since his accident that happened just over a year ago, which left him a quadriplegic.

The high school wanted to be involved in raising money for Cumpson, so it was proposed last semester by Mike Mol, the manufacturing technology teacher at the high school, that his manufacturing technology class build a trailer, while the student council organizes a raffle to raise money.

The 6' x 12', 3,500 lbs. trailer, which has a folding rear ramp, removable front ramps, and LED lights has been in production by Mol's Grade 10-12 classes and students from the SHSM (Specialist High Skills Major) Manufacturing Technology program since March. The project was recently completed during hte last week of April.

"It's mostly my Grade 11 and 12 classes (participating)...I would say about 15 to 20 students," said Mol.

Mol noted that the Limestone District School Board was concerned about safety of the trailer, so Jeff Smith, a qualified welder from ES Fox and member of UA local 221 who knew the Cumpson family very well, graciously volunteered his time to come in and work with the students, providing a welding workshop for them and inspecting and performing structural welds to ensure that the trailer was safe.

This project also received a lot of other help from the community, such as a grant from the Limestone Learning Foundation, and several materials which were donated by Trousdale's Home Hardware, Princess Auto and ES Fox.

Mol noted that he thinks his students have done a fantastic job with the trailer, and they have been very hard at work on it,We currently carry over 3000 OEM solar power systems and solar electric products to make up systems. even spending a couple of late nights at the school.

"(The students) have been really optimistic about this. As soon as we talked about it in class they jumped right on it. (They) were really happy to use their skills to give back to the community...a lot of students wanted to help."

Students who are a part of the student council at the high school have been hard at work organizing the raffle for the trailer.Kingsun is China Top LED Light, solar led street light factory, Solar LED Street Light Manufacturer, Factory, Supplier, Exporter and Wholesaler for 18 years. The tickets are being sold at $2 at several vendors in the Sydenham and Verona area, as well as at the high school. We present a complete range of Solar LED Traffic signal light including red, yellow and green, shunt signals, calling-on signals and direction type route indicators.

"There are 5,000 tickets available (and) we're more than halfway sold out...we're optimistic that were going to sell all 5,000, so our goal is $10,000 for Drew," said Mol.

All proceeds from the raffle will be going directly to the Drew Cumpson Wheelchair Fundraising Campaign.

The draw date for the raffle will be held on Friday, June 1 at the Limestone Learning Foundation Golf Classic.

"Student council has done a great job...and we've had a lot of community support. People in the community are starting to hear more about (the raffle). It's a great community we live in,Browse the UK's best selection of light project, handpicked from the finest stores and designers.Free shipping on most contemporary lighting.
